It was a classmate's birthday, today, so my daughter was invited to his party. They had a very well-organised dalek/space party. All the children had a great time, making/dancing/story-telling activities keeping them occupied for a couple of hours. Here you can see a photo of the birthday cake: a dalek with a sparkler for the eye. As you may be able to see, the photo is of poor quality. That's because it was taken on my camera phone, because it wasn't until I got to the party that I realised I'd left my camera at home. I had wondered why I felt so light when I walked up the road!
