I really look forward to Thursdays. That's when the veggie box from
Haycrafts Lane Garden arrives (perhaps I should get out more?). Today these lovely spring onions and red peppers were amongst the regular potatoes, as well as the spinach that we've been enjoying for these past weeks. I look forward to it because the veg is always so tasty - far better than anything supermarket-bought. I am a rubbish gardener and am pondering the idea of an allotment, but I doubt either of us will have the time for the upkeep, so the next best thing is fresh, sometimes organic, local produce.
