I was once again pressured for time this evening, but I did get out briefly to check out some of the acts that were kicking off the Blues Festival weekend. This is one of the Robin Bibi Band, who played at Bar se7en.This is the tenth Swanage blues festival, which was started by Steve Darrington. The festivals bring in lots of trade for the B &B's, hotels, shops and pubs for the town, at times of the year when it's quieter in Swanage. Steve organises the festivals, which run in March and October, as well as playing keyboard in the various venues around town.
