Raining Jazz

Day 51
11 July 2009

Today the weather has been terrible. There was a huge downpour whilst we were out in search of Jazz music to listen to for the Swanage Jazz Festival, with the intention of sitting on a rug listening to the music in the tent, somewhere nearby.
That didn't happen. We decided to just go with the moment and run about in the rain. We all got soaking wet, we all ran up and down the hills timing eachother to see who was fastest, and we all really enjoyed the experience!
I managed to get a peak in to the tent to see who was playing. At the time, Sophie Smith, pictured, was keeping everyone in the warm, beery steam of the tent, entertained with some very very good jazz. Her voice is beautiful and the musicians were excellent, too. Nice (sorry, I couldn't resist)!
